Preschool Program
Why Us?
Our early childhood program supports children’s physical, intellectual, emotional, and social development to the fullest extent. Our center uses curriculum which emphasizes and builds on each child’s strengths, while laying a strong foundation to build the competencies necessary for kindergarten readiness. Your child will engage in an exceptional learning experience while having FUN! Our early care and education program:
- Provides full-day preschool curriculum
- Is open year-round, except for major holidays and the week before Labor Day
- Employs highly-qualified staff with degrees in Early Childhood Education
- Is safe and in a secure facility
- Has a large outdoor playground
Activities
At Pelham Children's Center we view each child as an individual. Our curriculum emphasizes learning through play and includes a range of activities to facilitate social, physical, emotional and intellectual development:
- Art projects, legos and puzzles
- Block-building and working together
- Studying science - insects, vehicles, clouds, rainbows
- Computer and writing centers
- Playground, water and sand play
- Local field trips (with parental permission)
Hours Of Operation
The center opens at 7:30 in the morning and closes at 6 pm. Children arrive between 7:30 and 9am and leave between 3:30 and 6 pm.

Registration
To reserve your child's place, fill out the application and submit it by e-mail, fax, regular mail or bring it to the Center in person. Contact us to arrange visits. Classes often fill up quickly.
